Located in the heart of Potsdam’s city center, the Lindenstrasse Memorial stands for the history of political persecution and violence in the various dictatorships of the 20th century in Germany, but also for the victory of democracy in the Peaceful Revolution of 1989/90. The permanent exhibition provides information about the history of the house in four areas.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are regular special exhibitions and an extensive program of events (mostly in German).
