The Lindenstrasse Memorial wants to be accessible to everyone and is working to remove existing barriers. Despite our continuous efforts to eliminate impediments, this is unfortunately not possible in all areas at this time.
Access to the inner courtyard
Due to the cobblestone paving, the inner courtyard is not fully suited to wheelchair access.
Access to the permanent exhibition
The permanent exhibition is located in the front building and in the detention building. Most areas are accessible only via stairs and narrow corridors. Unfortunately, only a small part of the permanent exhibition in the front building is accessible to wheelchairs by elevator.
In the memorial’s lobby, there is a media station that can be accessed by wheelchair, allowing you to move virtually through the memorial and listen to the audio guide.
An audio guide in German easy language is available in the lobby at any time during opening hours.
Access to the special exhibitions and administrative offices
Both the special exhibition area and the offices of the Lindenstrasse Memorial Foundation can only be accessed by stairs.

Access to the event hall
The event hall on the ground floor offers low barrier access via ramps.
Toilets and baby-care room
A barrier-free toilet in the front building can be accessed by elevator.
There is no baby-care room at the Lindenstrasse Memorial.
Aids
At the Lindenstrasse Memorial you can borrow mobile seating to use when visiting the permanent and special exhibitions.

Parking
The Lindenstrasse Memorial does not have its own parking spaces. Public parking spaces for the disabled are located in the immediate vicinity on the corner of Gutenbergstrasse and Lindenstrasse.
