The Lindenstrasse Memorial Foundation maintains a collection of objects, photographs, original documents and reproductions of historical sources relating to the history of the court and prison complex at Lindenstrasse 54/55 in Potsdam or to the history and evolution of the Memorial Site itself. Besides objects found on the historic site, the collection focuses primarily on selected documents pertaining to victims, perpetrators and other culprits and figures from the time of the Nazi dictatorship, the Soviet occupation, and the communist dictatorship as well as from the Peaceful Revolution of 1989/90 and up to the present day.

Access to the collection is currently restricted and only possible by previous arrangement.

Should you possess information, documents or objects with a connection to the historic site or to persons detained here, please contact us. The staff of the Lindenstrasse Memorial Foundation is always looking for materials relating to individual persons or to the historic site.

The Lindenstrasse Memorial Foundation also secures personal archives and legacies that are relevant for the foundation’s archives.
