On October 3rd, on the occasion of the Day of German Unity, the Lindenstraße Memorial Foundation invites you to an open day with a varied program. In addition to guided tours (in German) on the history of the former prison and place of justice and the special exhibition “We thought we could turn the world upside down” and a counseling service for those affected and members of political persecution, the film event on Andreas Höntsch’s documentary “I won’t eat” ( 1992) and the book presentation “The Monitored Sky” with the historian Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Benz and the editor-in-chief of Metropol Verlag, Dr. Nicole Warmbold, are highlights of the day.

Admission is free to the memorial on the open-door day and a free audio guide in English is available.
